Thanks for traveling the trail! We can't wait to see you next year!
Whether you're looking for advice, inspiration, or just some good conversation, Rosie's Quilts & Things has you covered. The shop is run by Rosie and her husband out of their home. Sometimes things get a little crazy, but you know what they say about chaos - it's the sign of a creative mind!
Rosie always loved quilts but couldn't afford to buy them, so she decided to learn how to make them herself. She began by learning how to piece, then sought out the help of her mother-in-law for instruction on hand quilting. Rosie has come a long way since then and has been in business for 21 years.

Best not to follow GPS unless you want to take the scenic route.
From the north, follow Hwy 5 south through Marceline. One mile past Regional Bank, take a right onto Guitar Road (County Road 204) and follow it to the end. Take a left at the t-intersection onto Long Branch Ave (County Road 223) and Rosie's is about a half mile down the gravel on the left.
If you're coming up Hwy 5 from the south, take a left on Hwy E and follow it for one mile. Turn right onto Long Branch Ave (County Road 223) and head north 1.5 miles and Rosie's will be on your right.
Traveling on gravel roads can be a little daunting for people who don't have much experience. If you meet oncoming traffic, move right and share the road. Take things slow and you'll be fine!
Getting in the shop requires descending four steps. There's a handrail and assistance will be provided if needed. A large circle drive means plenty of easy parking.
